My sister makes THE best Raspberry Mojito I've ever had! I have been meaning to post her recipe for a while now, and this grey and blustery (non) summer weather gave me the time and motivation to get on it! Will be the perfect drink to sip out back tomorrow after a sunny day of working in the yard. Makes a pitcher...and is just as thirst quenching and yummy sans rum! {her kids go nuts for the non alcoholic versions}. Perfect time of year to go pick those berries, and enjoy a refreshing drink! Recipe Below. Raspberry Mojito You will need: - 9 Limes (and a juicer. I found a inexpensive hand press at winners) - 3/4 cup Sugar - 1 1/2 cups of white rum - mint - Raspberries **Juice 9 limes in a pitcher. Add 3/4 cup of sugar, 1 1/2 cups white rum, and mint and most of the raspberries (I save some of the berries to garnish). Mix together. Add ice and fill the rest of the pitcher with club soda. Serve adding a few full berries to each glass. ** When you make too much....Or you want to try something new: pour into an ice cube tray and freeze. Pull out of freezer after frozen and put cubes in blender. Mix with just enough water to blend. ;) Happy Friday! Enjoy ~ xo Lisa.

I had the pleasure of capturing some family and maternity images for this sweet family. Marika and I go way back, when we randomly met each other in Vancouver, when we worked at the same hair salon. She is one of the sweetest humans I know, and it's been such an honor to be able to capture their journey as the family grows. So sweet to also capture their daughter at this precious age, as she is looking forward to becoming a big sister! ~xo Lisa.

Spring Family Session

I have to admit, I have not been taking the time to update my blog. At all. Social media takes over, and updating those accounts have been where I've been spending my time. So my apologies for letting this blog slide. A few weeks back, I met with this super sweet family, to do a extended family session. It was a gift for their mom, and what a sweet idea! Was a super sunny warm spring day, and was great to take advantage of the wonderful spring weather we have been having!

I met up with this sweet family on the day that Mr. A was exactly 2 months old. Time goes so fast in the early days of bringing home baby...and capturing this fleeting time is always so special. Everyone has settled into life at home, and even Boomer (the 4 legged fluffy baby) has taken to her new family member. Thanks for having me! Always such a pleasure.

We got a snowy family session in just before Christmas. There is nothing like having all your immediate family home for the holidays. Especially when some have traveled back from Australia for a white Christmas! I joked that Jess and her family would be taking home "exotic" snowy beach pics. 2016 will be an exciting year with a new arrival as well! Wonderful to see you all again. xo Lisa.

Fall 2015. It was busy! Busy in business & busy in my family life. My little girl started kindergarten and I took on more work at Bijou salon (I've been a hairstylist for 14 years now). I also enjoyed doing lots of photo sessions with the amazing fall weather we had!! I seem to be updating my facebook page and instagram account (LisaSeyfriedPhotography) regularly, and the blog had to sit and wait. Can't do it all sometimes. So I figured I would do a post with a variety of images from my fall family sessions. Some you may have seen on my other accounts, and some may be new to you. I really do love capturing family sessions. Regardless of the time of year, there is something about capturing that point in your child's life. It is so special. Whether it is a goofy face, or silly smile...their spirit shines through...and those faces change so quickly with's just a special part of my job to capture that point in time. With Gratitude to all that support me! xo Lisa.
